Stony Switchback
Trail Thoughts and Musings
After the scramble, the trail continues ahead and then angles sharply up to the left. At the end of this ascent, the trail appears to end at a stony wall. The first time I took this hike, I turned back assuming that either the trail ended or would require a rock scramble that I was not prepared to undertake. In fact, it is actually a rocky switchback. By walking to the end of the wall and then looking back and up you will see this viewpoint.
