The Sequoia trail starts from the short term parking area by the park headquarters. The best place to park is in the lot by the Redwood loop and then cross over highway 236. It is 1.7 miles to Sempervirens Fall and another 2.2 miles back to the park headquarters for a total of a little under 4 miles. The hike receives a moderate rating since there are no long sustained elevation gains.
