Once the enchantment of the falls has abated, it is time to climb back to the parking lot. You can now either return to the Sequoia trail or follow the road to just beyond the creek crossing. Look to your left and you will see an impromptu path to the point pictured here. This portion of the trail is known as Slippery Rock trail. It is also where the Sempervirens Club was founded. Look for the plaque nearby.
