Trail Thoughts and Musings

The descent is not constant. The trail levels out at times and provides time for introspection. At this point, it travels through a riot of greens. Along the trailside is a profusion of ferns. This is accentuated by the emerald green moss that covers the trees. The darker green of the redwood foliage provides the perfect backdrop to this scene.
