Trail Thoughts and Musings

The trail continues to climb in a series of laterals up the slopes. By this time exhaustion has replaced the original sense of wonder with which most hikers started out. With thoughts of awaiting food, the trek is made one step at a time. The trail junction to the left is a connector trail to Sunset trail. Although not mentioned in most books, this is the most direct route back to the picnic grounds.
