Moss Covered Tree
Trail Thoughts and Musings
This portion of the trail is a lush riparian environment. Perched high on the West facing side of the Santa Cruz mountains, it receives over 60 inches of rain in normal years. A thick layer of moss can be found on rocks and trees alike. Here a large tree, which is encrusted with the moss, shares the trail.
