Continuing to follow the creek up its canyon, you will pass between varying plant communities. In some places low brush and ground cover will predominate, to be followed by dense stands of forest. Second growth redwoods are the prevailing species found in the canyon bottom. As always, Fall creek can be heard close by, singing its joyful song.
