The River Trail provides many scenic viewpoints from which to get a close look at the San Lorenzo River. In the summer, this river is slowed to a trickle and can be safely forded on foot. In the winter, however, it can become a raging torrent threatening homes when in flood stage. This picture shows it with a full run of water, but well below flood stage.
