Trail Thoughts and Musings

After leaving the Flatiron Tree, the forest thins out with fewer redwoods dominating the path. Take time to enjoy the less spectacular vegetation such as Hazelnut shrubs. All too soon the trail returns to the Nature Center and the conclusion of this CyberHike. If it is open, be sure to spend some time visiting the Nature Center. It has some excellent displays of the flora and fauna found at Henry Cowell.
