Starting the ridge top ascent

After abandoning Bunny creek, the trail laterals along the hill side as it begins its final ascent to the top of the ridge. Initially, the trail descends as it follows this side of the hill. The merry sound of the creek becomes more and more distant, but if you look down the side, you still can catch occasional glimpses of it. Enjoy the downhill trek now, because soon you will start a serious climb to the top.
