Although it is easy to become mesmerized by the awesome grandeur of the canyon and the river, one should keep an eye out for the smaller miracles. Here can be seen two of the valley's natives having quarreled over territory. The winner in a resplendent blue coat has defeated his rival, who can be seen retreating in the upper left-hand corner of the photograph.
