Trail Thoughts and Musings
After about a mile and one half, the path begins to descend toward the Kings River. A change can be seen as the sparse forest gives way to one that is filled with ferns and other moisture loving plants. Even the trees become more numerous as the river provides the ground water needed for this higher density of life.
