Lexington Ruins
Trail Thoughts and Musings
The town of Lexington was founded in the mid 1800's and in its time was larger than Los Gatos and Saratoga. It included a hotel and blacksmith shop. It was one of several towns submerged by Lexington Reservoir. The foundations of the town of Lexington now emerge once again from their watery grave to be dried by the winter sun. One can almost hear the bustling sounds of the once active town.
