Having left the openness of the meadow, the trail now ducks into the forest. Soon the rustic wooden bridge which spans the creek comes into view. Although for most of the year, the creek is a mere trickle, during the winter rainy season, it can become a torrent. Fortunately, the bridge is set high enough to be resistant to wash outs.
