Four Way Intersection

At the bottom of the this descent lies a four way junction. However, only three of the directions are open to the public. The road to the left leads to Portola Heights Road which is a private road. Continuing straight will continue the Long Ridge Trail which heads north and then loops back south to Peters Creek Trail. For this hike the connector trail is taken by making a sharp 180 degree right turn.
