Directions:

From Interstate 5 at the city of Redding, take highway 44 east. It is 46 miles to the park entrance. Turn right (south) on state highway 89 which is the main north-south road through the park. Drive past the large parking for the Lassen Peak trail and look for the Bumpass Hell trail parking area on the left side of the road.
