Cresting the Hill

After a short but steep climb, the top of the hill comes into sight. The ancient oaks become less numerous and only the most persistent trees are left to bid a farewell. It is with some sense of sadness that you leave this grove of trees that were young when the city of San Jose was a small Spanish village.
