The crystal blue water of Lexington Reservoir is never far from sight as you walk along Manzanita Trail. This trail allows some of the finest views of the lake set against the lush green background of the Santa Cruz mountains. In this view, the parking lot and boat launch area can be seen nestled in the trees by the lake. Beyond the lake Highway 17 can be seen as it crosses a bay on the lake.
