First Views of the Tokopah Valley
Trail Thoughts and Musings
Between the past glacial erosion and the continuing forces of the river, the Tokopah Valley is a breathtaking sight. Here the first indications of this can be seen. The river is framed by pine trees which keep this part of the trail well shaded. On the other side of the river lies one of the many campgrounds that are maintained by the Park Service.
