Soon an old stone bridge is reached that crosses Swanson creek. Once on the other side the trail (actually an old road) climbs briefly to reach a junction with a creekside trail which is signed Nature Trail. The main road will continue up canyon and can be used as the returning leg of the Waterfall Loop.
