View from Upper John Muir Trail

It is a mere hundred feet or so from Clarks Point to the intersection with the John Muir Trail. Heading to the left will lead to the top of Nevada Falls. In order to return to the base of Vernal Falls requires a right turn on the John Muir Trail. The views are still staggering from the vantage point of this upper portion of the trail. The valley stretches out far below.
