View up Pine Mountain Road

Pine Mountain service road is a wide dirt lane which terminates further up the mountain. I have not attempted to explore it yet but perhaps I will do so in the future. For this hike it is only traveled briefly until the Pine Mountain trail splits off to continue the climb to Buzzard's Roost and the summit of Pine Mountain.
