Final Portion of Slippery Rock

Having reached the top of Slippery Rock and following the trail, a final switchback is reached. The trail now expands into an old logging road that will be used to make the final climb to Highway 236. Although considerable elevation gain has been achieved, it was done in about 0.1 of a mile. This allows the most aggressive ascent of the trail to be accomplished without undue hardship.
