Highway 236 Trail Crossing

It is but a brief uphill walk before Highway 236 is encountered. This highway continues north through some of the least visited parts of the park before it ends at highway 9. One could make a left turn here and walk back to the park headquarters (Not Recommended) but instead, cross the road and pick up the Sequoia trail on the other side.
