The Sequoia trail ends at Escape road. This paved road is used by visitors and park personnel. It crosses Opal Creek on this bridge. On the other side, the Skyline to the Sea trail can be found. Turning left will take the hiker back to the Redwood Loop parking lot. For an easier hike the road can be used to reach the park headquarters. Due to the muddy conditions, this hike will use the road.
