From the observation deck one can look straight down at the top of the falls. Although it provides a unique viewpoint, the falls cannot be truly appreciated at this angle. If you have binoculars, better views can be had from where the previous telephoto picture was taken. Keep in mind that the falls are only impressive during the winter rainy season.
