Closing the Loop
Trail Thoughts and Musings
After relaxing and enjoying the views from the observation deck, it is now time to head back to the parking lot. The trail re-enters the riparian plant community as it follows back up the canyon formed by Kings Creek. In a short 0.2 of a mile it meets the junction with Ridge Trail and completes the loop. It is now a half mile hike uphill back to the parking lot. This ends your hike at Castle Rock.
