Juntion with the South Fork Trail

Soon a sturdy bridge is reached which allows an easy crossing over the South fork of Fall Creek. Here a junction is reached with the South fork trail which will lead directly to the IXL Kiln ruins. Our hike will follow the main branch of Fall creek and then loop back to the Kilns on the Cape Horn trail. Although no damage can be seen at this point, it should be noted that the flow in the South Fall creek now exceeds the total in Fall creek during summer.
