Since turning back now would make for a very short CyberHike, the choices were narrowed to wading or balancing on the log. After careful consideration, wading seemed a more prudent choice. The water was not as cold as was anticipated, but the force it exerted was surprising. This picture was taken almost in the middle of the stream.
