El Niņo's Beauty

Trail Thoughts and Musings

El Niņo can leave great destruction in its wake, but it is often the handmaiden of great beauty. South Fall creek is usually an unimpressive stream, but with the amount of rainfall in February, it has become a vigorous creek. Here it can be seen rushing out of the Blue Cliff quarry area. It is off the trail and requires some rock scrambling, but viewing this Sierra-like waterfall is ample reward.
