Spring is one of the best times to visit Long Ridge. It is only after the rains that the meadows turn green and become vast carpets spreading across the land. It is also when wild flowers bloom in profusion. California poppies predominate with myriad of other lovely plants. Pictured here is the California poppy along with am unidentified lavender flower. Please take pictures only and leave the plants for others to enjoy.
