Ascending Along Little Hot Springs Valley
Trail Thoughts and Musings
The trail continues to contour along the rim of Little Hot Springs Valley. It proceeds on a gradual ascent as it heads towards Bumpass Hell. Whitebark pine can be seen along the trail. It is one of the few species that can live here at 8,200 feet. It is able to survive the harsh wind and snow that prevail in the Winter.
