Moss Covered Bridge Over Waddell Creek

Trail Thoughts and Musings

The trail finally drops down to meet with West Waddell Creek. A weather worn wooden bridge provides an easy crossing at a point that provides an idyllic location for a rest break. Several logjams upstream form small ponds that reflect the sunlight onto the leaves above. The age of the bridge is attested to by the brilliant moss growing on it. Across the bridge the trail begins another steep ascent.
