Trail Thoughts and Musings
There now follows in short succession, three trees named for presidents. The first tree is named after William McKinley. Although he was not able to attend the dedication, his Secretary of State was present. The second tree pictured here was named for General Grant. It is 252 feet high and 42 feet around. The last tree was named after Theodore Roosevelt who did attend the dedication ceremony.
