Trail Thoughts and Musings

The path travels over the sandy soil as it progresses up the valley. Much of the way is through a tall spacious forest of incense cedar. This is interspersed with small meadows of green grass. Although the first two miles of the hike can be hot and dusty, if taken in the early morning, it can still be a pleasant and gentle hike.
